Mike Batt composed the score for "Keep The Aspidistra Flying", American title "A Merry War", from the book by George Orwell. The song "Tiger In The Night" was written by Batt for the end titles, and sung by Colin Blunstone. It is a very classically based score, with a suite in the first three tracks. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra was conducted by Mike Batt.

Hey nightwatch,

You have really posted a gem here. I was mildly blown away by this film and had to get the DVD. I was never able to find the soundtrack. Colin Blunstone's song is one of his best and I am a near compleatist. Thanks so very much for posting this.

Hi Tomatodon,

I never use passwords. You probably don't use WinAce to unpack the file or your download is corrupt.

I advise you to download WinAce from the right side of my blog. How to register for free is in the register text.

Alternatively you can try this zip file: http://tinyurl.com/1998keepflying

Right. I don't normally use ace and I was having problems with this folder but eventually got it to unpack. Thanks.
