The TV series based on Richard Adams' novel "Watership Down" was scored by Mike Batt. He orchestrated and conducted the score for a full (80 piece) symphony orchestra. It was recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, with whom Mike has worked many times. In 2003, the second season was nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Original Music Score for a Dramatic Series
.
The soundtrack to "Watership Down" is well worth a listen but very hard to find for a reasonable price. If you don't want to pay $70,00 but wants to have it anyway you can press the downloadbutton.

I still remember crying my eyes out as a kid when I was taken to the cinema to watch Watership Down and I still get emotional whenever I hear Art's theme tune....I remember the TV series but I cannot recall the music so looking forward to hearing this...weird, I have been listening to the Mike Batt Caravan a lot recently and it really stand the test of time...

thanks for sharing this rarity, its most appreciated
